Written by the late Howell Pearre, a well-known member of the Memphis theater community, these short monologues, two-character vignettes and one enthusiastic and intense ending reflect the compassion and grit of Spoon River Anthology peppered with the sarcasm, dry wit and salaciousness that Howell was known for.
